Marijuana in America.

                                                            Marijuana in America.

I enjoyed this documentary, I felt it gave a good even point of view and told its story fairly.
There is always going to be people of whom feel marijuana is exactly the same as heroin and nothing will ever change their way of thinking, while they down their bottle of whisky! As for the underage argument, if people think no underage people currently use marijuana at present because its illegal they must surely have their heads up their bottoms!

Making marijuana legal for people of age and for medical reasons is the argument! Children will always break rules and cause problems regardless, because in most situations in Australia anyway there is no or very little consequence for their actions!
That in my opinion anyway is the situation with our current youth problem.
And of coarse it is a nonsense to think that all kids do the wrong thing and are bad! Most don't and aren't!

I find in general that people that are against anything rarely or never consider how others rights are affected!
It also amazes me that a person can be fined or evan worse locked up for marijuana possession yet politicians can send our youth off to war at any moment without anyone to answer too!

Look at the Vietnam fiasco! 55.000 plus americans dead! 3.000.000 plus vietnamese dead! 800 plus Australians dead!
For what?

A bit heavy i know but it is food for thought at how ludicrous the whole debate is! If the powers to be really gave a poo about you or your kids they would be concentrating on peace initiatives and ways of improving things in the middle east rather than sending our kids in and creating more hate!

You may very well find the same people that are against the legalisation of marijuana and what it might do or does do to the youth of our countries are quite happy to send our youth into war zones!

Ah! but they ( those countries ) have oil !

Just saying!

Medical marijuana cures young boy.

                                                      Medical marijuana cures young boy.

A frantic father whose child was suffering from a life-threatening brain tumor has uncovered he issued him cannabis oil to ease him from the pain he was in. Furthermore, he has now evidently made a full recovery.

Cash Hyde, whom is called Cashy, was a perfectly healthy baby  when he was born in June 2008 but became extremely sick before his second birthday.

At first he was misdiagnosed with glandular fever before his mum and dad, Mike and Kalli, from Missoula in Montana, were given the overwhelming news he had a serious brain tumor.

The young man needed to have challenging chemotherapy treatment to diminish the growth, which had terrible side effects including seizures and a blood infection.

His concerned mum and dad were more than once advised he was more than likely to succumb to the disease on the grounds that the condition was so far advanced.

After one episode of high-measurements chemotherapy, Cash was so feeble he couldn't lift his head and was so sick he couldn't eat any solid food for 40 days.

It was at this point in time that Mr Hyde chose to make a move and go down the road of medical cannabis to attempt to help his young child.

Cash's specialists refused to even talk about the alternative so his dad went and looked for authorisation elsewhere and afterward secretly administered it through his child's feeding tube.

He additionally advised specialists to quit giving Cash the cocktail of anti-nausea drugs they had been giving him - in spite of the fact that he never let them know what he was doing.

Mr Hyde told KXLY News that his child began looking better immediately.

Mr Hyde said: 'He hadn't eaten a thing in 40 days - and, it was truly incredable to watch him take a bite of a bit of cheese. It demonstrates that he wants to live'.

He credits the cannabis oil for helping his child get past the chemo, and say's Cash has now been announced cancer free by specialists.

The kid is presently back at home and carrying on with the life of an average young boy, playing with his older brother Colty.

Medicinal cannabis is legal in a few states, including Montana, yet its utilization for youngsters is poorly understood and quite rare.
The US national government does not perceive the legitimateness of utilizing the medication for medicinal reasons and regularly goes against states over the issue.

Mr Hyde told KXLY: 'It's exceptionally disputable, its extremely unnerving. At the same time, there's nothing more unnerving than the prospect of losing your child.'

Medical marijuana in Australia!

Last Sunday, NSW Health Minister Jillian Skinner said that she was now ready to support the plans of a Tasmanian company that is in the process of seeking approval for the first clinical trial of medical cannabis in Australia.

On Monday, the NSW Nurses and Midwives Association turned out in backing of the decriminalization of marijuana for medical purposes and the NSW Parliament is expected to aniciate a private members bill to do just that.
This week, the family of a young boy with serious epilepsy addresses television program "Sunday Night" about their trepidation of treating their child with cannabis oil in view of the danger of having him taken away.

Nine year old Jai Whitelaw's endures an uncommon type of epilepsy that means he suffers from frequent seizures.
"We were advised not to, we'd be reported to the (Department of Child Services) if we do," Michelle told Sunday Night.

"We had a meeting with our neurologist and inquired as to whether its conceivable to trial it … and the medical board had discharged an announcement saying that any families, guardians or caregivers that um were associated with administrating a medication of such would be reported."
They are in a dubious position – at present Jai is steady, however his circumstance could change at any time.

"Simply in light of the fact that he is great right now, doesn't mean he will be great tomorrow.

Absolutely it can all changed at the drop of a hat," Andrew said.

At present they are a part of a fight to sanction the utilization of marijuana oil, which is not endorsed by the TGA however is being alowed in a few US states.

As indicated by specialists the oil does not contain any piece of the plant that gives individuals a "high".

"I hate it. I hate it. You know. Is there any valid reason why this drug shouldn't, and that is all it is a medication for medicine, is there any good reason why it shouldn't be sanctioned?" Andrew said.

You know there's been research done abroad and other nations like America (The USA) to legalise it in specific states however in Australia well we can't do that …  despite the fact that its been to parliament!

Hmm, It's about time the powers to be in Australia started serving the people that pay them!
It seems to me Australian polaticians need to grow up!

Grannies smoking pot for the first time!

Grannies smoking pot for the first time!
This is a great little video, these 3 true ladies are awesome and funny. This video has had millions of views and I thought it is well worth sharing. Whether your a pot smoker or not it's worth the look.
As with everything in life it's up to the individual what he or she partakes in and I think what ever we as people do, moderation and the right time and place is always a good measure to go by! With a lot of us these days it's hard to partake in anything with the drug and alcohol testing in the work place that goes on.
I still wonder how many top end management types this applies to! Im pretty sure they play with a different set of rules. Much the same as their pay scale!
For myself, I'm working towards freeing myself of the mans rules and work for myself! It's a work in progress and one I'll never give up on!
I'm not a greedy person and where I can I do what I can to help others in any way I can. This is now what I'm doing for myself now as well! Helping myself to be as free as possible to live out the rest of my life however short or long it may be as a free person! For freedom to me is ones greatest asset!

As of not long ago, its been a couple of rich people who furtively financed thriving pot organizations, but for the first time, a noteworthy investment firm is going to put multimillion dollars behind pot.

It's an association between two speculators and the first institutional interests in pot,

Geoff Lewis' firm, Founders Fund, a $2 billion organization, made its name investing early in new organisations such as Facebook, Spotify and SpaceX. Be that as it may now its wagering on pot.

"We discuss all our investments  for a long time . ...So especially for this situation, we did an additional, additional profound jump on the business," Lewis said.

The business is recreational weed, now lawful in four states. Therapeutic (Medical) marijuana is legal in more than 20 now.

Privateers Holdings CEO Brendan Kennedy said it is a watershed moment.

"It's essential for our organization, but at the same time its critical for the whole industry," Kennedy said.

Privateers Holdings is the parent organization of three cannabis brands: Tilray, which develops pot in Canada; Leafly, an online database of distinctive pot strains and stores; and Marley Natural, from the family of reggae star Bob Marley, which intends to become the "Marlboro of weed."

Kennedy confronted difficulties along the way.

"Raising cash is constantly troublesome, but raising cash in this specific industry is the hardest thing I've ever done," he said. However Founders Fund is backing Kennedy's organizations on the grounds that it sees a future in what they says is now a $40 billion business in the U.S.

"One of our key fundamental beliefs is any individual who wants to consume marijuana is already consuming it," Kennedy said.

"We will see it move, change from being a market that's based on prohibition and an unlawful business to being a completely open, completely transparent business sector. and thats the opportunity," Kennedy included.

"The surest method for multiplying your cash putting resources into cannabis stocks is to fold it back over and place it in your pocket," UCLA professor Mark Klieman cautioned.

Klieman studies the cannabis marketplace and warns: investors beware.

"Quite a few people are gathering into the marijuana business on the grounds that they think they will have the capacity to offer a lawful product at illegal prices," Klieman said. "competition's not going to permit that. Legal cannabis will be very cheap, and I think quite a few people are going to lose their shirts attempting to sell it."

That is, whether they don't get arrested first. Under federal government law, marijuana is still illegal. While the Justice Department has said it won't prosecute cannabis organisations (companies) obeying state laws, that could change.

Kennedy said he doesn't see a danger, however.

"More than 80 percent of Americans feel the medicinal marijuana ought to be legal, 8 out of 10; you can't get 8 out of 10 American's to agree on  anything," Kennedy said.

Lewis said this isn't a politically motivated investment.

"We're investing in light of the fact that we think its an awesome business," he noted.

Both Lewis and Kennedy believe pot will be completely legal in the U.S. inside 10 years. Starting now, there are no numbers on what number of organizations have effectively begun, or how many jobs  have been created, but many experts agree  the cannabis business sector could turn into a $150 billion to $200 billion business sector around the world. Only time will tell.
